About me
Rebecca Zimmerman is the Principal at Merrill Elementary in Merrill, Michigan. Now in her 25th year in education and fifth year as a principal, she is passionate about building a positive school culture where students and staff are challenged to grow, embrace learning, and reach their full potential. Rebecca believes that strong relationships, high expectations, and a commitment to continuous improvement create the conditions for success. Since partnering with MiMTSS two years ago, she has led the Merrill Elementary team through significant growth and improvement. Through a focus on PBIS, leadership development, and the mindset of "Handle Hard Better," she works alongside staff to create an environment where every student and adult can thrive.
