About me
Julie is a nationally board-certified teacher in early/middle childhood literacy with experience as a classroom teacher, an interim elementary principal, and an early literacy coach. Since joining the MiMTSS TA Center in 2024, she has supported schools and teachers across the state with Tier 1 literacy instruction, focusing on high-quality curricular materials and explicit instruction. She currently co-leads the Explicit Instruction Facilitator Network.
