This session focuses on strengthening participants' ability to evaluate and select a validated intervention program using research-based frameworks, ensuring alignment with student needs and evidence-based practices. This highly interactive session will include connections to Public Act 146 and the National Center on Intensive Intervention's (NCII) Taxonomy of Intervention Intensity: Academic Rating Rubric. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify the dimensions of the Taxonomy of Intervention Intensity
  • Understand how to select evidence-based intervention materials that support equitable, data-driven decision-making and improved learner outcomes.
